Today, SHIELDS remembers R&B singer Vesta Williams.
Vesta was known for her powerful voice when she hit the scene in the 1980’s and
most recently performed at a benefit concert honoring the 18th
anniversary for the Institute for Maximum Human Potential which highlighted the
work of SHIELDS Executive Director Kathy Icenhower.
Our heart goes out to her family and friends as they mourn
her passing yesterday.
